Taste of Henry showcases over 25 local restaurants with dishes that are sure to satisfy every palate. The taste-size portions let you sample a variety of different flavors and restaurants. From delicious main courses to appetizers and desserts - if its great food, you are sure to find it at

Taste of Henry is Friday, April 23, 2010 from 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm at the Jason T. Harper Event Center at Heritage Park in McDonough. 

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door the day of the event. 



Taste of Henry is a great value!

ADULT ADMISSION (AGES 13+):
$20 admission.  Adults receive 10 Taste Coupons* and an entrance wristband.  

SENIOR ADMISSION (AGES 65+):
$15 admission.  Seniors receive 10 Taste Coupons* and an entrance wristband.

CHILDREN'S ADMISSION (AGES 3-12): 
$5 admission.  Children receive two Taste Coupons,* two Kid's Zone Tickets, and an entrance wristband.  All kids under the age of three are admitted free!

*Additional Taste Coupons may be purchased on-site at $2 each, provided you have an event wristband.  Taste Coupons are redeemed for one sample per restaurant at a time.

The annual, open to the public Taste of Henry event benefits A Friend's House, Henry County's home for abused, neglected, and abandoned children. This is definitely one night of the year where you can indulge without feeling guilty, as one hundred percent of the proceeds from ticket sales benefit this great cause.

Each year, participants compete for three special prizes: People's Choice, Best Presentation, and Best Sweets.

"VIT" Taste of Henry treat bags

The first 500 patrons through the gates receive a free Taste of Henry "VIT" (Very Important Taster) treat bag filled with exclusive goodies from participating restaurants, vendors, and sponsors.

by the Pat Sowell Project!

Live music at Taste of Henry will be provided by Henry County's own Pat Sowell Project.  Check them out online!

Diners at Taste of Henry will have a chance to win a signed Paula Deen cookbook.  Just fill out one of our comment cards at the event, and your name will be entered in the drawing.  Best dishes, ya'll!
